I had the pleasure of experiencing Whittlebury Park Hotel Gourmet Getaway package deals during my recent stay at this stunning hotel. The package included a comfortable Double or Twin Club Room, access to the Leisure Club, a sumptuous three-course dinner at the highly-acclaimed Murrays restaurant, and a delicious full English breakfast before departure.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional.
Now, let me tell you about the dinner – it was an absolute highlight of our trip! We savored an impressive selection of exquisitely crafted dishes from the menu.
Our starters, Artichokes garden and Loch duart Salmon, were expertly prepared and tasted divine. We indulged in the succulent Whittlebury hung beef and the tender Black-faced thame Lamb for our mains, both of which were cooked to perfection. And, for dessert, we savoured the heavenly Passion fruit meringue Pie.
The menu was SUBLIME. The chef cooked to perfection, and thanks to Davide (the manager) who paired our wines for every dish, the result was more than excellent!
Simona (our lovely waitress) delivered to my friend and I an excellent service.
The Room at Whittlebury Park Hotel
The Double or Twin Club Room included in the Gourmet Getaway package deals at Whittlebury Park Hotel is a real treat. It’s spacious and comfortable, with high-quality furnishings and all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi. A tea and coffee station, so you can enjoy a cuppa while you relax in your room. The beds are large and sumptuous, with crisp white linens and plump pillows to ensure a great night’s sleep.
Leisure Club staying at Whittlebury Park Hotel
Do you like a spa day? Who doesn’t?! The Leisure Club offers a big and equipped gym, a 19 metre swimming pool. A nice Spa area where you can relax in the Jacuzzi, Steam Room or Salt Sauna.
If all of this is not enough, the hotel is situated in a gorgeous park where you can camp or have a nice walk or have a picnic by the romantic lake.
